* HORSES International *TOP BOARDING FARM* Promotional Contest. *

HORSE BOARDING FARM CONTEST       Boarding a horse can be a source of stress for a horse, but it may be even more traumatic for the owners. HORSES International have created a contest to present, publicize and promote the most superior boarding farms and the horsemen that operate them, in an attempt to ensure that horses are safe and well-taken care of. We believe that is a simple and most effective method to aid the quality boarding farms and also the innocent horse owners in search of a quality home for their horse.
The contest is FREE to enter for all member Boarding Farms.
An Independent HORSES International adjudicator visits the participating Boarding farms with a predetermined register of specific questions and aspects of horse care.
      Results:
      - Independent results are published and available to all HORSES International members.
      - The Boarding farm(s) may receive awards from: Accreditation as an Approved HORSES International facility, upward-to $100,000 in approximate value as a combination of cash, prizes and farm upgrades*.
      - Horse Owners will have an Independent evaluation of horse boarding facilities regionally, nationally and internationally.
      - A Boarding farm that achieves Accreditation will have legal right to advertize and publicize their farm as an Accredited HORSES International facility, along with the right to display Accreditation, Awards, and the Official HORSES International logo on any of their advertizing and promotional materials, and the opportunity to have their farm promoted on Official HORSES International promotional materials and online.
      - Publically promoting the names of Boarding farms that refuse an Independent evaluation by an Independent HORSES International adjudicator, will allow member horse owners to be prepared to do all investigations individually.

HORSE BOARDING FARM CONTEST       HORSES International believes that there are 2 kinds of people:
People that own horses, and HORSEMEN, and the 2 should never be confused.

It is apparent that there are many so-called horse boarding farms that are *Get-rich-quick* attempts by non-horse people to simply drain as much money from horse owners as is possible, while providing sub-par care for the animals.

It is also apparent that there are many GREAT HORSE PEOPLE that truly love horses, and provide wonderfully loving and caring living conditions.

The problem is that the majority of horse owners have a difficult time distinguishing between the two separate and opposite groups, and it is not until after experiencing one, two or three bad experiences, do owners learn the specific signs to look for. Our Independent adjudicators may be able to save one animal from a bad experience. Areas of investigation will include: Overall horse safety and care, cleanliness, feeding regiment, stalling, barn maintenance, boarding contracts, equine veterinary availability, emergency procedures, pasture/turn out, and the very important human element on the farm.

The contest is FREE and open to ALL Boarding Farms.

HORSE BOARDING FARM CONTEST       Note: Any farm that is seemed to be sub-standard in any area, will have one attempt to improve and correct the issue at hand that was deemed to be sub-standard by the adjudicator, prior to publishing the Official Findings. This will allow the contest to assist in improving boarding farm conditions.

The CONTEST is open to any and ALL Horse Boarding Farms Worldwide, no matter the breed of horses, the size of the stable, or the training discipline. (A large Boarding and training farm housing 60 jumping horses, or a small farm with 5 stalls for Draft horses or ponies are equally encouraged to enter).

AWARDS and PRIZES shall be awarded on merit, not on the financial worth of the Boarding farm itself. HORSES International and the Independent adjudicators are not concerned with the discipline or the horses being stabled and will be unaffected by breed or discipline. A quality home for horses is the ultimate goal of the contest !!!
